View Full Version : Photo of the Month: September 2005

09-10-2005, 05:49 PM
First let's recap the rules that we started out with in August:

Each member can post one photo in this thread each month.
The photo needs to be taken in the month covered in the thread title.
The photo cannot be larger than 800x600.
Please include the camera you took the picture with and the date of the picture in the description.
This thread is about sharing your photo not discussing technique, opinions of what is art, or to make disparaging comments on someone's picture. If you would like to discuss those things, please start a new thread.

Any posts in the thread that don't meet those guidelines will be removed.

This thread will be made monthly for people to share their work so other members can see the talent that exists here. Let's keep it fun and civil!

This is a high power electron tube for my radar. i put it in without noticing the crack in the bottom. all of the haziness inside the tube is from the loss of vacuum as the high power hit it. HP Photosmart 620.

I have not really gone through all of my photos from the trip yet, but this was taken in St. Louis Bay Mississippi on or about September 10th while I was assisting with relief efforts from Hurricane Katrina. The house was moved about 150 yards and up 9 feet from ground level onto the tracks.

This was with the Nikon D70. I think that covers the requirements...date, camera, and under 800pxl...
