Apple TV problemsmy Apple TV is not working quite right. I can get pictures on laptop to show on my TV but it is not mirroring my actual screen. Cursor should show when moved on TV screen too but doesn't. iPhoto slide show does not run either, just shows first slide. Am able to watch movies from via Apple TV from internet. do I need iCloud account for showing slide show? Thanks, this is frustrating.

Yes you need to login to your Apple Account (the same as iCloud and everything else apple) on your Apple TV and turn on Home Sharing in iTunes. As far as Screen Mirroring goes we need to know a few more details about your Operating System and Apple TV model.
Sent from my iPhone using Mac ForumsI used to be conceited but now I'm perfect.
