    Apple Recall: Possible Overheating MacBook Pro Battery
    In case you haven't heard...Apple just announced a voluntary battery recall for MacBook Pro's sold between September 2015 and February 2017 for a possible overheating battery. Owners can verify if their MacBook Pro is affected via serial number.

    I saw that in one of our RSS feed posts. That's scary. An overheating battery can cause a fire which can have catastrophic results. Definitely don't want to use that MacBook Pro on your lap! Ouch.

    Just dropped my wifes 2015 off at the store, invoice showed cost to replace $388 Canadian.
    They are replacing the Battery and the top section of the laptop.

    That's scary. An overheating battery can cause a fire which can have catastrophic results. Definitely don't want to use that MacBook Pro on your lap! Ouch.

    And especially and definitely not anywhere on an airplane!!!

    At least they haven't been banned completely. Yet!!!

    And maybe this Apple repair replacement will delay such actions.
