A little short on details my friend! VERY hard to provide an answer without the spec details on each computer.

In my books, Apple refurbished = new. So, if the two machines you are comparing are equally spec'ed, I'd opt for the lower price and not be worried if one of those was a refurb.

Thanks People Im Looking at the base 15" model right now Late 2013

I was hoping to get the 16 gb configuration on it.

There is a refurb with only 8gb at $2100 with AC and taxes. Should I hold out and spend more on the 8 and double the hard drive for $2395

Orrrrrr.... what are your thoughts on the 2012 MBPRs?

With only a $40 difference...I would definitely go with the 2013 model. Assuming (with either choice)...that you are ok with 8gig of ram and 256gig of storage.

Price comparison is approx $2100 for the two refurbs vs. $2395 for the newer configurable model (I'm assuming with 16gig of ram and more storage). If you think that you'll need 16gig of ram and more storage...then the extra $295 may be worth it.
