Question 27 LG UltraFine 5K Display
    Hi,
I have an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015); Processor: 4 GHz Intel Core i7; Memory: 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3; Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB. I run my iMac at 2650x1440 most of the time. Question: Will I be able to connect the 27 LG UltraFine 5K Display to my iMac as a second side-by-side display. I do not have USB-C on my Late 2015 iMac. Thanks so much. Kevin

    Welcome to our forums.

Yes, you should be able to use the LG UltraFine 5K display alongside your new iMac. (To be sure, check with the Apple Store genius when you go there to buy.) You should not need a USB-C adapter to connect it. Make sure that if you buy the LG you purchase the new version of it and not an older model. The newer version of the LG has been fitted with RFI shielding to protect against WiFi interference that caused problems with the first iteration of the display. Also, buy soon as the price is going up sometime in April.

You can apparently use a TB3 to TB2 dongle but it can't drive 5K, only 4K.
