Cannot enlarge size of word documentWhen I open a document in word I have a very small window on the screen. When I try to enlarge it by putting the cursor in the marked edge at the right bottom corner and drawing the window larger nothing happens. What's wrong, what can I do? Thank you for help!

Which version of Word are you using and what setting do you have showing for document magnification? I use the "Print" view in Word and keep my document magnification set at 125% but I'm also using a very high resolution display.

What happens if you click on the little green dot in the upper left corner?

Hi, chscag,
my version is Word 2008 for Mac, Version 12.2.4 (100205) , Last update installed 12.2.4
This is not about the magnification but about the frame. No problem to zoom or move the text within the frame but trying to pull this larger fails.

Hi toMacsh,
that was it! I knew that dot only to reverse the storing of a micro at the right bottom of the screen. Sorry to bother you with a nonproblem - I am 72 and although I spend a lot of time in front of my iMac or Ipad I am not so familiar with problems which do not turn up every day. Thank you, much relieved!

Which version of Word are you using? MS has made changes to their Office 365 Word app so that the viewing window on a new or older document opens full size. Previous to those changes, a document would open a quarter size and had to be resized manually. It was a bug that MS cured with updates.
