You're a lucky ******* indeed! I wonder if they'll but a G5 in the iMac, that would be awesome.

    Did you get a superdrive?

    That's too cool! A 20" iMac mmmmmm

Yeah, the superdrive is standard in the 20" iMac and I think the 17" now also. As for a G5 in the iMac, I think it will be awhile before we see that. I believe Apple wants to save that for ther Pro machines for now. I think the next thing you'll see a G5 in will be the PowerBooK

I'm jealous Welcome to the iMac world. My iMac rocks, I suppose yours will be much better. I am holding off until at least Rev2 G5's because I can't seem to get rid of my 17" iMac Can't even move it one space to the left on my desk. Talk about pathetic

it would be pretty cool if the iMac monitor could be a detachable so that you could just hook it up to another iMac base. the bases for the imacs are small enough to store and just using one monitor would be pretty cool

Yeah, that's only downside I see to the iMac. I'm spending good money for this gorgeous 20" LCD but I won't be able to use it with any other computer. But that's ok. Besides, I imagine the iMac should last me quite some time. My little G3 iBook 800 has more than enough power for me still. I just wanted a desktop computer so I imagine a 1.25 G4 should last me quite some time
