    I'm not sure I understand your question. Usually, one thinks of an iMac as a desktop and therefore not for portage.

    Have I got this wrong? Please confirm whether it is an iMac and if so, why you want or need to transport it.

    Yep... iMac... I'm traveling all summer, staying at places a week at a time so I'm talking my iMac!

    yeah.. that's what I'm thinking... I'm asking hoping someone knows of a case that costs less than "too much money."

    Unfortunately, iLugger is the best. You get what you pay for... Note that they now have a new case that has wheels - should be great for lugging thru airports.
