I keep getting an image upload error that the file is too big.
The max size allowed is 500 x 500

Is that new?
I don't recall having that severe a limitation before.
The most recent jpg file I wanted to upload was only 27K (but over 500 pixels wide), adjusting it to 500 pixel max dropped the size to 16K but it's now hard to read.

Me too, just started getting that. 800X800 used to be fine. I have been using that preset in Preview for ages. Used to fit the page width perfectly.

I tried to upload an image to a post of Jake's on email clients a few days ago and the size of the image allowed was so small I could hardly make out the text. I will try again today as I thought it may have been a momentary glitch at the time but maybe not?

So this is now the largest image I can post of this "new" notification. What is going on?

The above is a .png image of 49kb is it possible that the images I used to send were being resized but that no longer works? Here is a copy of our web page at the maximum size.

As you can see this is not really legible so something has changed.

I can now only upload if I use the smallest parameters in Export (Jpeg - low, smallest size; size small). Some stuff must be unreadable.

For everyone's info: Max size has been returned to 800 x 800. Please keep to those parameters.

Thanks.

Thank you. 500 x 500 is just too small.
