That's true, Patrick, but what James wants is to avoid having to log in at all, just go to the site and have it know that it's him. And that is done by the checkbox. As I recall, that used to then put a cookie on your system that hald information for the site and you, but the technology may have moved on from that. And if it is the cookie, that's why cleaning out Safari history forces a login again, and if you don't check the box, no cookie, so you keep being asked for it. Using keychain is certainly easy to do the login, but, again, I think what James wants is to avoid that login altogether. I only had to check the box once, and now the site knows when I am there.
