Sorry forgot to add OS X 10.9.2 and Firefox 28 Browser

An effective Pop-Up blocker. I use both Chrome and Safari, however, the Pop-Up Ad blocker for Chrome does not effectively block it whereas the one for Safari does. I do not use Firefox so I can't speak for how the Pop-Up Ad blocker works there.

I have add-block plus installed in Firefox - blocks all pop-ups on all sites except this one on mac-forums. I do not want the two email subscriptions it mentions so hope this is a time-limited screen ......
Thanks for replying anyway

;D

We have no control over this particular iNet-originated abomination - and our pleas are largely unanswered or ignored.

My recommendation would be to add another subscription list to Ad Block Plus. If you're just using EasyList, add a second like Fanboy's list.

I just bought AdBlock yesterday by going through Safari Extensions.. in the menu. I did not see Ad Block Plus, or any of the other spelling variants in this thread. Are the two I've mentioned by the same developer? That would seem odd, and even more so that only one was on the web page.

They are 2 different applications.

AdBlock has been around for several years - while AdBlock Plus (imho, using the success of AdBlock for their own means) is a newcomer and is still in beta.
