Greetings.

I should probably know how to deal with this, but my brain's throwing a wobbly....

When I view questions and answers on the various forum pages, certain words appear in blue and have a double underline. If my cursor travels over one of these, a pop-up appears and has to be dismissed in the time-honoured way by clicking on a little 'x'.

Can I avoid these altogether by setting something appropriately?

Puzzlingly yours,

You mean these??

Is this what you are talking about? It's funny you would post this because I was coming here to post the same question. But mine was encountered at another site. I see them lots of places and they are annoying as heck! They pop up and then don't go away!

But I found they do not seem to appear when using Firefox, only Safari.

A-Ha! That explains why I don't see them in Firefox. I am using Ad Block and it had this one set to filter out. I love Firefox.
