Mods are we as a community here, having any problems with Mac Forums today. Its taking me a average of 90 + seconds to load ANY page in here today ??
I have gone through and every other page from other sites load without a problem, but having GRRRRRR too many problems here today.

Just wondering as its quite annoying, that i cant post replies in my favourite 2nd home. I also (off topic a bit) still cant get the Report page to reload after i have hit submit, in less than 19 seconds and this is a ongoing point.

But just for today are we experiencing any problems today

Cheers

It's extremely slow here as well. Everything else loads at normal speed.

Have either of you tried turning on an Ad Blocker? I know sometimes with it off MF takes forever.

Been having the same issue for the last hour, except it's taking more like 2-3 minutes plus to load a page here. And only here at m-f across multiple browsers.

I've been seeing it a couple of times a week the last 3 weeks or so, but usually only lasts 5-10 minutes at a time.

Was tortoise slow here around midday (NZ), and guess where it was 'stalling'. Yep, an ad server, iNET interactive no less. Ad-free skin makes no difference.

Load speed had returned to 'normal' an hour or so later. I get the impression, falsely perhaps, that delays are at peak M-F access times, when ad promoters are waiting to seize the attention of M-F viewers.

Yup it was slow over here as well. I would click a link anywhere here, go back to one of my papers and type a bit, and would still be loading when going back.

We'll let iNet know. I have seen it on occasion, but not recently.

Today it was pretty normal. Normal speed here for me. Off and on though last week it was very slow like is being reported above but not today. I have AdBlocker on Safari also. Tried it on Firefox and on a Windows system with FF.

We had some network issues for a couple hours. Things should be sorted now though. Thanks for your patience.

On a slightly different, but possibly related note:
Earlier this evening, when I clicked on the "Quote" button, I was occasionally prompted to download a file called "newreply.php" (I think that was the name; it was definitely a .php extension)
Each time, I would cancel this and hit "Quote" again, which would have the desired effect.

Just thought I'd bring it to notice.. :)

Right now here in Central California it's very normal and quite fast. Seems to hit certain areas like it's a server in the middle somewhere.
