Weird java bug

[YouHaveBeenVezD]

I tried to update my java on my macbook pro osx 10.5.8 and some people told me to go in the "search for new updates button" it didnt show the new java version, so I searched further. Another site told me to go in the java preferences app, but I cant open it. When I try to it gives me an error code...
