I was just wondering what a good price for a 5.5 month old MacBook Pro 2.4GHz would be. Here are the specs:

15" Glossy screen 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro with specs listed above
Apple Remote
DVI to VGA adapter
MagSafe 85w power adapter
Software install disks with Mac OS X Leopard 10.5

All manuals and instructions

good price would be about $1600-1700 (that might be pushing it on the high end).

1gb or 2gb of ram? Is this the newer macbook pro that will accept and utilize 4gb of ram? I may be interested for my wife.

It's 2GB of ram, and can have 4GB of ram it's the newest MacBook Pro available.
