Price dropped to $530.

Note this is the same price as new IPad 2 but with 4x the memory, 4x the display pixels, HD vs VGA camera, 4G LTE vs 3G, and Siri/IOS7 works. Or, $300 cheaper than an iPad Air with same specs.

Good luck with your sale. I had my iPad 3 (very similar to yours but with Verizon LTE) for more than a month on Craig's list last year and never got a single offer. My price was a bit higher because it was before the iPad Air came out. There are just too many el cheapo tablets on the market which makes selling an iPad more difficult. I wound up keeping mine.

My wife has already asked me if I should just give it to our college son...which is odd cuz she's usually the cheapskate :)

This is a higher end configured iPad (64gig + cellular). I'm sure your son could live with a lot lower configured iPad.:)

You could also do a decent drop in the price at all places you have it posted for sale. Then it will sell much faster. I'm assuming that you checked eBay for units with the same exact configuration...so you don't have it priced above the "competition".

I could, but I believe it's priced fairly. Problem is it's more capability than most people need.

I think that part of the problem is that few people in the market for an iPad are going to pay more than what they could get a new low-end model of the latest generation for, particularly with the iPad Air having such a more powerful processor. I do realize that yours is a 64GB model and that it has the cellular option, but those features appeal only to a very specific market.

You may be better off parting it out a bit. Sell the keyboard cover by itself and the iPad for $450 or so and I think it would move.

Additionally, you may want to try a venue where the buyer has some kind of protection, like eBay.

Just my $0.02 - good luck with your sale. For what it's worth, if I didn't already have an iPad 3, I'd seriously consider it.

Many times folks don't want all the "extras" (they want to get their own extras if they really want them). If you were able to sell the "extras" (keyboard, case, and the camera kit) separately...and reduce the asking price of the iPad accordingly...it may sell faster.

The "buying audience" here on Mac-Forums is not super large...so I hope that you have it for sale elsewhere...which would certainly increase selling opportunities.:)

Yes, I have it listed in multiple locations. I didn't add a whole lot to the price for the extras, basically giving them away to entice a sale. That said, my wife the cheapskate O:) said I didn't have to sell it...although honestly I'm not sure how much use it will get when I buy the Mini with Retina/LTE/128Gb. :)

Please don't take this the wrong way...but it took 9 days to respond to my post (not that it was necessary)...and you should be visiting Mac-Forums more than every 9 days!;) Ha ha.

Just saying...response time when selling something is very very important. I deal with folks on my local Craig's List all the time...and I'm always surprised how slowly some folks respond to messages. Speed is key when trying to sell something.:)

If you feel the iPad will not get much use once you purchase the Mini...as I mentioned above...drop the price. An unused iPad collecting dust puts zero $$$ in your pocket. Drop the price $100...and when it sells...now you have $430 in your pocket.:)

Something to consider.:)

Honestly... similar iPads (3rd Gen 64GB wifi) are going for $350. Thats what I'm looking for. I have a line on a Gen4 64GB wifi only asking $390, waiting for a email to see if he's taking my offer of $375 as I have to drive 85 miles to get it... he won't ship.
