I'm just watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart while checking out M-F on my MBP and see they've made their own little mock election center. The cool thing is that all the corespondents are using MBA's! I just thought it was kind of cool and the first time I've seen an MBA on TV (other than commercials). I guess basic cable shows have decent budgets after all.

i saw that as well and i assumed they were donated by apple, its hard to get that kind of solid apple tv time on a "trendy" show like daily, I say apple surely did not bill comedy central.
but definitely cool.
I also noticed there was one CNN correspondent using a MBP while the rest were rocking crappy dells.
(I watch a lot of American related election coverage for a canadian)

oh and did you notice how Rob Riggle had almost finished that massive sub he was eating by the end of the segment? he didnt actually eat it but, he was off too the side when they got back from commercial, and by the time they panned out the massive sandwich was down to a couple of bites. I appreciated the subtlety

I noticed that the huge sub was almost gone toward the end of the segment too. It's subtle jokes like that that I like the most.

I'm guessing Apple did give them to the show. I doubt not just anyone would know they were Macbook Air's since they didn't really show them from the front or side, but they still had those Apple logo's shining brightly. But I also thought it may have been kind of a rip on the MBA since the whole point of the segment was to make fun of the media using ridiculous technology in pointless ways.
