Just a few days into owning my iPhone it slipped out of my pocket and landed on the top right corner, denting the cover right where the on/off button is located. So now the phone cannot be turned off, it constantly cycles on and off, and just drains the battery after a couple hours of service.
I took it to an apple store, but their "fix" was to sell me a $249 refurbished iPhone and pop my sim card into it. I'd rather keep my current phone and pay a company to replace the back cover. I have seen the covers for sale at cnn.cn but have not found a repair service who will do the swap. Any suggestions?
