Vista Home Premium's price has plummeted to $99. Apparently, MS's price drop wasn't enough to raise this Titanic.

Watch out for flying chairs being launched from Redmond.

Wow, ya know, I was really excited for Vista.

Back in like, '04 or '05 I was all pumped for Longhorn and how awesome it was gonna be.

Hmm...best that I not get excited for Windows 7.

Meh, don't see that happening anyway.

$99? That's only $10 more than the OEM price!! Microsoft must be really desperate to make Vista sales

They busted that on Mythbusters already :) Nice pun though!

Oh, and I'm not surprised. About time, really. It should have never been as expensive as it was in the first place.

I have a better idea! 129 for 1 box, 1 version, purely delightful. :-D

It'll be like the AOL discs back in the late 90s.

Not like they're of much use anyway.

I have a homemade Vista gaming PC that works great. I haven't had the first problem out of it. Of course I also have BS degree in Computer Engineering.

I remember when vista was launched - Vista Home Premium was like $700AUD. Bloody rip-off.

The above average Windows user smelled nothing but stink coming from Vista before it came out.

I used mine for coasters! They work great! I have vista on this laptop as well as Ubuntu and rarely ever boot into Vista. I can even run windows programs on it. I was looking forward to the new windows too. It's pretty disappointing now

I wrote "Return to Sender" on mine....

Used to love that commercial with the guy waiting at his mailbox... he gets the AOL disc... yells... "It's HERE, IT"S HERE!" runs in the house... and finishes his art masterpiece with all the other AOL discs he got.

They have already sold 88 millions copies. Is dropping the price $30 honestly going to lead to a huge group of people deciding it is the time to buy?
