Hey :)

I would hardly call my setup a home 'studio' but it is my home recording 'rig' in which with patience, I can get very nice sounds out of.

It consists of:

Macbook (2.0 Ghz Core duo, 2GB Ram, 80GB + 160GB + 250GB HDD, OS 10.5.2)
Logic Pro Suite (Logic Pro, Sound Track Pro, Main Stage, Compressor etc)
49 key Midi keyboard
Line 6 Tone port UX2 (Interface with 2 x XLR in and 2 x 1/4")
2 x Behringer C-2 Mic (Matched pair condenser mics)
26" HD TV/Monitor
Acoustic Solutions 3.1 Speakers (Not very good for mixing but it does a good enough job for home projects)
Sennheiser eH 350 Headphones
Fender Champion 600 Guitar Amp (1 X 12AX7 Valve Preamp and 1 X 6V6 Valve Power Amp)
Wah Pedal -> Distortion Pedal (for low level breaking up) -> Chorus Pedal -> Reverb Pedal
12 String Kimbara Acoustic
6 String Chantry Acoustic
Rogue Bass
Ibanez Limited Edition RG based on the 350/550
Custom 6 String Electric (Built)
BC-Rich Signature KKV
Alto Saxophone

Nice set up TS. And a sax player? Never did take the time to learn any of the woodwinds.

Hey :)

"Sax Player" is a term I would use loosely... I prefer... "I own a saxophone and make noises with it :p"

I hope that Sub woofer is shielded otherwise you are not doing your lappy or external drive any good.

The sub is a fair distance away from the laptop and from both my external drives. I have had my sub in much closer proximity to my machines without any problem before :)
