Hey!
I was wondering if there was any movie editing software with effects and stuff like that (I like iMovie for normal videos) cause I was planning on making a video in which there are different "rounds" and I wanted to make like something that said:

Round 1
Mike vs. Jordi

in explosive letters...

iMovie will allow you to insert transitions, titles, and other effects pretty easily. You can also download add'l effects from various sites. I've used those from Gee Three, and they have some free ones here: Free Effects.

iMovie 08 is very limited. Actually I think it only has transitions effects. iMovie HD has third party effects available for it, such as those from Gee Three, and if I recall properly, some built in ones.

So, which iMovie are you asking about. Version information is important for any post you present.
