Hey...

I've got an .avi file and I want to add subtitles into it (.srt file)

After it, I want to burn the file (with the subs)

what program/s should I use?

Thanks for helpers!

Do you need to do it in OSX or do you have bootcamp/parallels/VMWare Fusion access to Windows? DVDRHELP.com has many ways of doing this for Windows users. I haven't found a mac -only solution yet. . . . will keep looking

I need it in OSX.

(On Windows I use "Avi Recomp", but it doesn't have a mac version)

Thanks anyway!

Try Submerge, not free but cheap (9 US$) and with raving comments in Versiontracker

download a programme called Perian. Once it is installed you just drag your folder with the .srt and .avi file in it to your burning software and the movie will burn with the subtitles.

avi with sub

Hey man,

great tip with your Perian. However, It doesn`t work me. I really would like to join sub to my avi files but I still haven`t found any software for it.. :Grimmace:
I just wanna have .avi file with burned sub in it.

If you use your Perian, which burn programme do you use?

Thanks for your advice :)
