I have a quick question. How do I change the icons of folders. In Windoze I select customize and then choose a new icon. Is there a OSX equivalent?

Update: 4 days with my new iMac and I absolutely love it. I have no slowdowns and can actually multitask with no herky jerkies. I just picked up an external IOMEGA Minimax external 500Gb hard drive from Best Buy for 139.00. :D :D :D

To answer your question:
1)open the image you want to use as an icon in preview
2)select edit --> copy
3)highlight the folder whose icon you want to change
4)press "cmd-i" (apple key and the letter "i")
5)at the top left of the "get info" window there should be the icon of the folder
6)click on that icon to select it (it should gain a blue border)
7)press cmd-v (apple key and the letter "v")

that should change the icon of the folder

TIP:
to restore the icon to default:
ignore step "1" and "2" + change step 7 to:
7)press "delete"
