I've been getting messages from the get new button that make no sense. An example below:

This forum requires that you wait 10 seconds between searches. Please try again in 15 seconds.

This makes no sense.. if I have to wait 10 seconds, why do I have to wait 15 seconds till I can .. plus it was my first time hitting it in a few hours.

Why did it say this?

If when clicking on the Get New here at MF, you accidently hit it twice really fast, the forums will give you that message. I have a Logitech Blue Tooth mouse that sometimes the left button is clicking 2x really fast and I get that message a lot now.

In your case though you could just be hitting it 2x by accident.

I know my mouse is doing it because in solitaire it double clicks. It's the Microswitch for the left button wearing out.

Yeah, I have done that, but my problem here is that it says you have to wait 10 seconds between searches, but then tells me to try again in 15 seconds.. which i think is a glitch.

If I accidently double clicked, then it should say try back again in 10 seconds.. no?

I have had the 15 second warning also. I never get it unless I use that one mouse or am in a real hurry and click twice.

But that doesn't do exactly the same thing. The Get New button only gives you posts you haven't seen yet whereas the Today's Posts give you all of that day's posts.
