I'm not familiar with that format. What program was it generated in?
In most cases, I find VLC Media Player to be able to read oddball formats. You might want to give that a shot.

it was filmed on a camcorder and from a programme called gasp which is golf swing analysis software and my copy wont run on my new mac! i really need it to keep an eye on changes in my swing! Thanks

A quick Google search shows that the file is a proprietary format only readable by the GASP program... which has no Macintosh version.
You will need to run the GASP program under Windows in order to view them.
