Questions about Macbook movie playback

When I had my Powerbook, everytime I tried to play an HD movie, it would skip a lot. I'm guessing the computer wasn't powerful enough.

How's movie playback with the Macbook? Specifically, does it skip during HD playback? Will the GMA x3100 limit its movie capabilities, or was my G4's PPC chip just wasnt powerful enough? Thanks!

That is what Intel designed that chip for and it is actually pretty good at it.
