sharing iTunes library between Macs

How do I go about synching the iTunes music library in my iMac to the iTunes in my MacBook?

If you want to just share the library, go to the preferences in iTunes and click on the sharing tab. From there you can select to share your library.

What do you mean by synching?

Sharing. Accessing music on a shared drive?

If you want to transfer all your music to your Macbook, then go to the file menu from iTunes (from the Macbook)and select "add to library". From the window that comes up, go to Network/youriMac/homefolder/music/iTunes/iTunes music and then "choose" at the bottom of the window.
It may take a while if it's wireless...
