Is Aperture any good at all can you do alot of editing with it like dodge and burn and things like that

Who got this please give your comments even compare to photoshop

If you own a mac you can just download the 30-day trial and try it.
It's always better to see it for yourself instead of hearing it from someone else.

I would also encourage you to do a trial download of Photoshop Lightroom, which is the version of PS most comparable to Aperture.

Some prefer Aperture, while others like Lightroom better. Coming from a PC, I just migrated my LR program and files to the iMac, so I couldn't tell you how it compares to Aperture.

No, you cannot dodge and burn in Aperture. As suggested, try the demo to see if you like it. Keep in mind though that it uses the memory on your video card quite heavily so the more video memory the better.
