Sorry if this has been posted before, I searched and found nothing. Basically, I want to prevent other Apple remotes that aren't mine from accessing my computer, or if that doesn't work locking out the apple remote entirely. For the record I have an Intel Dualcore Macbook purchased in Summer 2007 with OSX 10.4.11

Thanks!

Easy!

In System Preferences, look in the Security section.

You will see a button that says "Pair". Click it and follow the instructions.

There is also a "Disable the IR Receiver" button to prevent any remote from accessing your computer

Does that mean I can bring my remote to a classroom and turn on everyone's Front Row?

I found the "disable IR Receiver" button but I only see the "unpair" button (which I can't click on), no pair button at all.
