New User with 2 ipods---HELP!!

I am a new iMac user as of Monday. Both my boyfriend and I have ipods, how to we transfer both ipods without combining our music libraries? On XP I had to create 2 user accounts, is it the same with mac?

Yes you need to use 2 user accounts on the Mac to do what you are trying to do.
