parallels problem

ok i just bought parallels today an when i go to install windows xp home edition it says that theres not a cd in. but i have windows xp home edition the upgrade an i think thats the problem. so if anyone knows whats going on it'd be nice to know.. thanks

Installing xp home with the upgrade disk should not cause this problem. You will however require a previous version of windows.

Try checking your cd in another machine and see if it is recognized there.

Perhaps Koehler09 is referring to the disc itself being an upgrade, from Windows 2000 to XP?

If that is the case it will be necessary to get a complete install Windows XP disc.
