A question I can't seem to answer myself. I am setting up Remote Desktop access for a business (8 - 10 Mac desktops running Leopard and an XServe server behind a cable modem linked to an Airport Extreme BaseStation and a Cisco 8 port switch). I have little experience with the BaseStation, but it is what they want to use, so I am trying to figure this out for them. Anyhow, heres the issue:
I need to forward ports for FTP, HTTP, and Remote Desktop, possibly others. I spent hours today going through the various searches and Apple Docs, and have done the suggested port mapping things I found, but I cannot seem to get the ports to open. Inside, on the LAN, everything works fine. Internet access to the outside works fine. I just can't seem to get the ports to forward properly. Anyone got insight on this one?
