• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hello. I own a MacBook Santa Rosa 3, with 144 mb of video memory and 2gb of ram. As i saw in the specs of final cut express hd, the software does support the macbook, or integrated graphics card. Bought it, installed it and it gives me the following error: this program requires certain software or hardware to run : AGP graphics card. As i read through multiple forums(and saw happy macbook+ express users), there is a file that you install, so that final cut bypasses the agp card check. is that possible? can you help me? i'm kind of desperate. hope i havent wasted my money. thanks in advance

- Control-Click (or right click) on the Final Cut Pro/Express application and select "Show package contents".
- Open the contents folder and open info.plist with TextEdit.
- Search for AGP replace it with PCI
- Save and close the file.
- Open FCE HD and it works.
