moving programs

i have some downloading software that i paid for and i was wondering if i will still be able to use it on my macbook when i get it. specifically limewire pro

Is Limewire Pro one where, when purchasing, you get an activation code/registration code/etc, rather than completely different software? If so, I'd imagine that code would still work. There is a Mac version of Limewire (I use it) so if that's how it works, then you should be fine, but I can't remember.
