Are there any freeware or other tax programs that will run on Mac?

Both TurboTax and TaxCut have Mac compatible versions according to their websites.

Anyone have a preference of TurboTax over TaxCut? I've always used TurboTax, but the TaxCut guys had a great booth at Macworld and some really helpful people there answering questions.

I've already done my taxes for this year, but I may give TaxCut a try next year.

Texas, where else?

I've used both of them for my personal taxes. Have nothing out of the ordinary though. Since it's a one use product and once a year, I usually pick up which ever one is cheapest at the time I go out to get it. Never remember enough differences that would make me say one is better than the other.

I suggest using TurboTax.com. It is free as long as you stick with the basic version.

Actually I make too much so it won't let me do it for free. :(

If you're making too much to use it for free...you should be happy lol.

I can't use it for free either because I receive 1099 forms in addition to the W2 I get from my job.

I've used H&R Block's TaxCut online the past 2 years. I'm trying TurboTax online this year and I think it is much more user friendly.
