macbook ?

I am totally new to mac, switching from pc in a few weeks. With the release of the new macbook air does that mean they are not making the other macbooks anymore? the white and black ones?

Three options now: MacBook (white or black), MacBook Pro (aluminum), and MacBook Air (aluminum).

They're still there, don't worry. The MacBook Air is a whole different product line. The regular MacBooks and MacBook Pro's will be here for a while to come, still. They're great machines, and I love my MacBook :D

think of the macbook air as an "ultra light" where as the macbook is "light" laptop and the 15" pro a "portable" and the 17" more a "desktop replacement"
