has anyone tried this? its where you put on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album while watching The Wizard of Oz on mute and it works together. you start the album on the third roar of the lion during the MGM intro. its freaky how the scene changes sync up, and then the twister scene and the lion's song are cool

well it becomes less of a movie and more of an enhanced visualization. its like when youre watching itunes and the visualization transitions move with the song transitions. it blew my mind away at parts

There was a version of this on the P2P circuit a while ago that was already synced and everything. Might wanna try there for a version you won't have to worry about syncing with.

I would definitely be up for receiving a copy of that when you get it all done. :) If you don't mind that is :)

The first time I saw that, it was up in Washington State in an auditorium and they called it the "Dark Side of the Rainbow" they had a laser light show to go along with it.. it was an experience to always remember. Funny thing is that I just watched Oz last night, w/o Pink Floyd, but we were tempted :)

So if you do not mind please send that production to me once you've finished!

Cheers!

Rick

i dont mind sending it to people, but you must own the Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon for all that legal mumbo jumbo. All you'll need to pay is shipping (from 77073) and the cost of the blank DVD-R ($1.75). I'm not done yet, been busy with school and work.

Yep I own them both.. well Oz on VHS, but I still own it, and then I own the Pink Floyd box set so I don't think I have to worry about that one ;) Just tell me when you're done and Ill get that payment out to you in whatever form you would like.

Thanks!

argh! anyone know of a way to put an entire cd into one track in either .ac3 or .mp2 format? i tried using iMovie, but it doesn't export in those formats, and cant find anything to convert it from .mp3 or .aiff to those.

i might try mediapipe if no one knows of anything, but that takes a long time to decode, then encode in the format

well i decided to pick this project back up again... found a way to convert the audio, need to compress the video, but thats fairly easy, just takes time... and heres the case art i made. depending on how much it costs to get these printed on decent paper, ill set a price. i wanna try to keep it under $7-10 before shipping
