If there was an Email forum in the Digital Lifestyle section I'd post this there, but there's not. This relates somewhat to switching though. So having justified myself, here is my question:

In my former life as a PC user, I'd right-click on a file, and I'd be able to select "Send to Email Recipient..." from the context menu. I want to do this on my Mac. I thought Automator might be able to do it, but I can't figure out a workflow. Does anyone have a completed workflow or another recommendation? I am using Mail. I don't want to use a different email client, so "switching to Entourage", for example, can't be part of the solution.

Oh yeah, that would work. Thanks vp.

BTW, it came to me this morning: the easiest way. I simply drag the file to the Mail icon in the Dock. Mail opens, spawns a new mail message, and attaches the file automatically.
