I've been a Pc user for many years, but decided a couple of months ago to upgrade to a MacBook and subsequently sold the Pc, the new system is 10.4.11 and so far so good, however is it possible to increase the page out file (vm), in windows this action is easy to do' but in the Mac i can't find it. :Smirk:

There is no virtual memory setting on OS X. It just uses as much virtual memory as the system needs and gives it back as HD space when it's no longer required. But the best option is to have 2 GB+ memory in it. That'll decrease your reliance on VM quite a lot which is always a good thing.
