I'm having a peculiar problem. When playing Windows games (Mac games are fine), my MBP starts displaying stretched textures. For example, if playing Neverwinter Nights 2, my characters hat might get stretched to the ceiling. A little research confirmed my suspicion that overheating was the culprit, so I started playing with smcfancontrol. If I rev the fans up to 6000 RPM in OS X, then reboot in Windows, those games work fine. I tried using Speedfan under Windows, but it's useless on a MBP. So two questions: 1) Is this a warranty issue, or would it get blown off as a "Windows problem"? and 2) Is there a fan control utility that will work on a MBP under Windows?

1. probably blown off as a windows problem, even though its a cooling issue.

all you can do really is set smc, then reboot, thats what i did.
