DirectX on Crossover

I recently installed Crossover, and installed some games on a Windows 2000 bottle. It only emulates DirectX 8.1 (too low for some games), and I was wondering if I could possibly update it? I'm pretty sure DirectX 9 is available for Win2000 so that would be ideal for me. Any help is appriciated. :D

I believe crossover does not support DirectX 9. It is not a matter of "upgrading it". If you want to play games on your mac, install xp using bootcamp or vmware fusion.
