I'm thinking of getting Ilife 08. If I upgrade from 06 will my photo library be automatically transferred over after installation? Also if I have any video footage will that go over to Imovie?

Can't say about iMovie but the photo Library goes over to '08 with no problems - at least I had no problems.

Both the iMovie and the iPhoto application will read the old data with no problems.
