Happy New Year to all. I am looking for a PDA phone that will sync with my mac powerbook (Tiger OSx). My cell carrier is Verizon and I need a phone that will do contacts and Calendar. Everywhere I go (verizonwireless.com, Verizon stores, and internet) I seem to get different answers.

Can you help?

You can take a look at this site: http://www.markspace.com/products.html or http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/

I don't think the popular brands offer Mac-compatible software but if the phone you are looking for is compatible with The Missing Sync, then all you need is the program. iSync alone can do the trick too, in the past i have synchronized my old Motorola phone with Tiger just using iSync.

Palm based PDA phones still work with OSX out of the box. Palm desktop is available for OSX. As stated above you can use iSync or The Missing Sync for compatibility with Apples iCal and Address book. Neither is perfect for iCal as iCal and Palm approach the calendar settings differently, but you can compromise some and it will work acceptably.
