I want to run something by all you smart folks. I am a recent switcher that has season tickets to the Green Bay Packers. I have a PA setup for tailgating. I have been using my iPods, but I am getting sick of drunk people playing with them. The iPods are also not liking the extreme cold.
I am thinking about buying a MacBook to go along with my new iMac (just sold my Sony Vaio so I am getting a MacBook anyway). I am wondering if this setup will work - MacBook sitting in RV connected to an AirPort Express out by the PA speaker. I plan on using AirTunes to play music. I also plan on using Signal and my iPhone to control iTunes.
This way the MacBook can be locked up. Nothing is outside. Nothing is in the cold weather. I can control the music (I do playlists 90% of the time) from my iPhone when necessary.
What do you think? This sound doable?
