pages to jpg!!

hello guys....how are you doing!
i've photos that are saved with .pages
how can i make them jpg
i tried to rename them from .page to .jpg
it didnt work...
i want to save them to my photos in iphoto
please help me.

Where did you get the .pages photos? Those are actually Pages document files, not images.

Where did you get the .pages photos? Those are actually Pages document files, not images.

actually they were saved as .doc
my dad emailed me a scanned photos "he is a PC guy"
so he scanned them and for some reason he send it to me by Microsoft word.
then i opened it with pages and i saved them.

is there is a way to convert them!!

HELP!

I assume he saved the pictures in a Word document, try opening those files with Pages or Word (you can get the trial version), then drag and drop the pictures to iPhoto or Preview then iPhoto.

I assume he saved the pictures in a Word document, try opening those files with Pages or Word (you can get the trial version), then drag and drop the pictures to iPhoto or Preview then iPhoto.

i did that it gives me some error code it's in the attachment on my second reply for this post

Sorry, i didn't read the second post... As far as i remember Word saves attachments as bitmaps, i'm not sure if iPhoto can take those straight forward. If you still have the original files then open them in Word, select the image and copy, then open Preview and select File>New From Clipboard, it will create a untitled PDF which you can export as JPEG. This should work too with the Pages document.
Some scanners are set to send the image directly to Word or other program, that should be easy to change.

The only thing I can find that works is copy the pics from the document and paste them into a Photo editor. I did it with Photoshop and it worked great.
