Just curious, could I take out the keys from the aluminum keyboard to clean it just like the way I take keys out from a normal keyboard? I tried taking them apart but it was a pretty tight and I was afraid of damaging my keyboard. Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend that!

You don't really need to with the new aluminium keyboards as there is quite a space in between the keys. Can't you just use a cotton bud? Like the ones you use to clean your ears?

No no, what I mean was taking out the individual keys to clean in inside of the keyboard.

Ah perfect. Just what I needed to read. I had recently spilled some coffee on a small portion of my keyboard resulting in some annoyingly sticky keys. Very helpful, Thanks.

Just my opinion but I would take it to the APPLE store and get it cleaned by
them may cost but at least they stand behind it should something go wrong.
