Hope someone can help with one of those 'not so obvious' solutions ...

I changed my Documents, Applications, Music, and Movies folders with custom icons using Finder and copy and paste, not with Candybar.

I switched to Leopard and the custom icons are still there, how can I have them revert to the standard Leopard icons for the above ?

Appreciate any help @!

you probably did an upgrade to leopard and not an erase and install...
to change them back to the originals,
1)click on the icon
2)press command-i (get info)
3)click on the icon at the top left of the get info window (to select it)
4)press delete

that should change it back to the default

Thanks a lot !! That did the trick beautifully !

Yeah I did simple Upgrade, then an Archive & Install, the icons were causing some funny stuff with Stacks.

Good morning and merry christmas.
Does the mac have a utility that will partition the hard drives? I understand windows XP needs to be on a differemt drive.
Thanks,
Al

Albert, disk utility will partition disks. Also it would be better to start a new thread with a question, instead of high jacking with a new question.
