• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

If this needs to be in a different forum, please move. I just don't quite know where it belongs.

I have some questions and was hopeing someone can lead me in the right direction.

He is what I want to do. I want to create a music disc that someone can put into their computer and play the music. However this is where it get's a little more complicated. I also what this disc to contain small video file or two. Essentially I want it to be like the music cd's you buy that have interactive features on it that you can put in your computer and view. How can I go about doing this? To make things more difficult, I'd like for this disc to be played in cd players on radios and not solely in computers. Again, like the music cd's you buy now. Of course this last request isn't the most important thing but it would be really helpful.

If anyone help me, provide me a link or tell me what I should be searching for, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks-b.

I know that some burning software back in the day (Nero I believe) had an option for a "Mixed Mode CD" which would allow you to make an audio CD that could be played in cd players and on computers. it would also let you put other things on the CD that would only be available when played in a computer.

Google Mixed Mode CD and see if you can come up with anything.

Toast Titanium lets you do mixed CDs

Its probably the best all round burning software for Mac, equivalent to Nero
