OK, where do I start?

My wife got me this iMac for xmas.
We both are advanced PC users and do a lot of crazy graphic design and video editing.
The 'ol PC was always crashing and locking up when the files got big.
I hope this Mac thing will work better.
So far it seems fairly strait forward and I believe I have a handle on using this thing.
What Graphics software do yall use? I do some animation, rotoscope (my avatar) and 3d stuff. My wife does the video editing and music stuff.
Im all ears and would love to know how you use your mac.

Well, for graphics editing Photoshop is still on the top.

Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop mainly

Don't use Quark Xpress much anymore

and , of course Dreamweaver and flash for web work

Depending on how much you edit video, there is iMovie, Final Cut Express and Final Cut Studio.

I believe that Avid has video editting software for Apple also.

Adobe CS3 apps. I mostly use Illustrator and Photoshop.

And Maya.

I run Photoshop CS3 & Photomatrix Pro (for HDR imaging) with digital still photography.

I run Final Cut Studio for my video.
