if I want to install linux on a G3 ( 233 )...

what version of Mac OS do you suggest (9 or X)

and

what version/build of linux do you suggest

Personally I use Red Hat 9 on my PC but I hear SuSe is really good. Linux is actually a bit harder for installing net packages and such but I like it on a PC
